Our Pumpkin Walk

The Pumpkin Walk is designed to meet the people of our community. It's a FREE event. Come and see the carved pumpkins through our nature walk. This is suitable for all ages.

Mission

We are hosting a Pumpkin Walk on our property and beautiful woods. The Community is invited to visit the Pumpkin Walk as a fun, safe, and festive way to celebrate the fall season.

The second annual Pumpkin Walk at Redeemer Lutheran Church, we will be open from 6:30-9:00 PM on October 15, 16, 17. A donut and apple cider will be served.

The Pumpkin Prayer

Dear God, as I carve my pumpkin help me say this prayer:

Open my mind so I can learn about you: (Cut off the top)

Take away all my sin and forgive me for the wrong things I do: (Clean out the inside)

Open my eyes so Your love I will see: (Cut eyes, shaped like hearts)

I'm sorry for turning up my nose to all You've given me: (Cut a nose in the shape of the cross)

Open my ears so Your word I will hear: (Cut ears shaped like the Bible)

Open my mouth so I can tell others You're near: (Cut mouth in shape of a fish)

Let your light shine in all I say and do! Amen. (Light the pumpkin)

Join Us

Local businesses, individuals, and organizations are encouraged to showcase their talent by registering to display a pumpkin along the trail. Deliver your pumpkin on Wednesday October 14 to the church, at noon, then return Thursday, Friday or Saturday to find your pumpkin along the trail. We ask that all pumpkins be family friendly without witches, ghosts or scary faces.

To add a pumpkin to our nature trail, email our office with the number of pumpkins you would like to display. It is free to participate
